We had some visitors recently and we planned a lot of different activities for them to see and experience. Cultural oddities, religious places of worship, air force related information and history. Want to know one of the must-eats on our list?
McDonald's.
I know what you're thinking. Fast food?! Why would you get mediocre American food when you have all this interesting Japanese food? Greasy french fries and bad burgers?!
But wait.
It's made in Japan.
Which means it's suddenly this delicious, well-cooked food. Every.single.time we've gone, it's fast, fresh, and delicious. Just like it's advertised in the states, only for real. Our fries are hot and cooked well. Our burgers look like the pictures on the menu. I can ask for no onions and not have to pick them out of my burger. If you wait for more than thirty seconds the workers apologize for the wait. It's incredible. And hard to resist. This had to be how the restaurants were when they first came out and became so popular. I'm actually satisfied when I leave the fast food joint now.
Our visitors were satisfied as well.
And I'm sure I'll be forever turned off McDonald's when I return to the states and return to horrible customer service and mediocre food.
But for now, I'm lovin' it! ;)
that's so funny! i'm glad you guys had a good time :)
